On October, 5th 2022 Ethio-Canadian Cultural Academy Inc partnered with registered charities such as (Hipic) and other international charities etc. to send 110,000 Canadian dollars’ worth of important and lifesaving medication to help Tigrayan refugees living in Sudan cope with illness, injury ,and traumas of an over two years war and genocide happening in the Northern region of Ethiopia (Tigray).ECCAI has made it a mission to help people in need by any means possible by also joining food Harvest Manitoba to gather daily collections of food and other necessities so that peoples everyday life can be slightly easier. ECCAI is honored to be able to celebrate 10 years of service empowering children and showcasing our beautiful culture to Canadians! Its been an absolute pleasure working with children of all ages over the years and seeing the impact the programs have had on their lives. We hope to continue our important work for years to come!
