INTRODUCTION

Celebrating Diversity, Preserving Heritage: A Journey into the Rich Tapestry of Ethno Culture with ECCAI

What we Do?

The Ethno-Canadian Cultural Academy (ECCAI) is a registered non-profit organization that commenced its operations on September 3, 2010, initiated by a volunteer group consisting of diverse dancers representing various ethnic groups in Ethiopia.

ECCAI was established with the purpose to introducing the different language and a rich diverse culture to Manitoba, Toronto, and the Canadian community at large. Our objective is to keep children connected to their cultural roots and heritage, fostering well-rounded individuals with a positive self-image and a stronger sense of community connections with their peers.

EDUCATION, EMPLOYMENT, LIVE PERFORMANCE, HUMANITIARIAN, MULTICULRUTRAL, AND MANY MORE

The Ethio-Canadian Cultural Academy supports minority and vulnerable individuals by providing aid and care to help them overcome their needs.

The Cultural Academy provides free education to children and youth, aiding them in enhancing their knowledge and art skills while offering economic support to the families of new immigrants.

Ethio-Canadian Cultural Academy has been running various educational and entertainment programs, serving as a cultural exchange between Canadians for the past 14 years.

ECCAI has implemented different education programs, educating over three thousand individuals in Manitoba and over 450 children in Toronto.

The classes will run in-person and online in Toronto and Winnipeg. Our organization offers various subjects, including language, mathematics, dance, drama, music, cultural education, and live performances to the public.

ECCAI has also hired over 290 new immigrant youth employees, providing successful support for Canadian work expenses. This initiative aims to assist minority communities while offering entertainment for all Canadians and tourists.

We create job opportunities for Black and minority youth as well as new immigrants during both winter and summer, targeting individuals aged 15 to 30. We are impressed with the positive outcomes of our programs.

THE ETHIO-CANADIAN CULTURAL ACADEMY WOULD LIKE TO SAY THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS
