Sialem Abreham

I started volunteering at the age of 13 years with my school Ethio-Canadian Cultural Academy Inc.

1. Volunteer at ECCAL and extracurricular activities and have participated in transferable skills Cultural Exchange: For immigrant youth, summer jobs can facilitate cultural exchange and integration into the local community. Interacting with coworkers and customers from diverse backgrounds can be enriching.

2. Critical Thinking Skills: Overcoming challenges that arise in my volunteering me and developing critical thinking skills. Learning to manage unexpected situations fosters adaptability and resilience.

3. Time-Limited Commitment: my volunteering me at Ethio-Canadian Cultural Academy Inc allows me to gain work experience without coming to long-term employment. It provides a flexible way to learn and practice during school breaks.

4. Appreciation for Education: I come to appreciate the value of education even more experiencing the demands of the volunteer working world. This understanding can motivate them to pursue further education or career advancement.
